Steve Rowe
The Urban Bluesman

A master blues guitarist and native of Montreal, Steve Rowe has been a staple of the Canadian blues scene for decades. He has earned 15 nominations from the Quebec Lys Blues Awards and has shared the stage with legends like Buddy Guy and Colin James. His playing style is deliberate and deeply rooted in 1950s Chicago and 60s British blues.

Inus Aso Reggae Band

Formed in 1987 by founder Buntin Neil, Inus Aso is Montreal’s longest-standing reggae band. They are known as a pillar of the local scene, performing roots reggae, dub, and rocksteady. With positive lyrics focused on unity, justice, and peace, the collective has opened for international reggae icons like Alpha Blondy, Lucky Dube, and Toots and the Maytals.

Justin Saladino Band

Led by Montreal-born guitarist and singer-songwriter Justin Saladino, this guitar-driven blues and rock group delivers dynamic, energetic performances. They effortlessly mix smooth R&B textures with wailing blues riffs and funk influences. The band is a regular at major events like the Montreal International Jazz Festival and was nominated for “New Artist of the Year” at the 2018 Maple Blues Awards.

Freddie James Project

Founded in 2001, the Freddie James Project is a high-energy, seven-piece band known for their electrifying and tightly choreographed live shows. Fronted by the soulful Freddie James, who began his career in the 1980s with hits of his own, the group specializes in getting crowds on the dance floor with a boundless mix of classic and contemporary Soul, Motown, Disco, R&B, and Pop hits.
